A little bit about me.

 

I thought that I might look into studying for a career in Architecture, so in my senior year of High school I decided to take a class and get a feel for it. I was advised that I should take an Art class as well as it would be a benificial tool. While taking the art class, I soon became fascinated with oil painting. When I moved on to college I took a few more art classes to explore Oil painting more. While I never did pursue a career in Architecture, I did continue the oil painting as a hobby. Then in the mid 1980's Life got busy (really busy) and I stopped painting  to take care of all else that I had to do. In 2005, after I retired from work, I decided to take up the brushes again after an almost 19 year lay-off. I am not a professional artist but I do enjoy painting as a hobby. It's a great way to relax and illustrate my take on things. I hope you enjoy the site. Please feel free to contact me and let me know what you think.
